We have added seven new aftermarket replacement parts for door sill trim, rocker panel trim, door latch rods, window trim and transfer case linkage. This new group covers popular Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, BMW, Volvo, Maserati and Jeep applications.
Some of these retainers are small, inexpensive parts, but when they fail you often get loose trim, rattles, gaps, a door lock rod that will not stay in place, or a transfer case shifter that feels loose. The key is to match the original part number, model code and mounting location before ordering.

1. Door sill and rocker panel trim clips: VW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac
Door sill and rocker panel clips hold the lower trim, side skirt and door sill mouldings tight against the body. When the original nylon clip becomes brittle, the trim can lift at the ends, rattle over bumps, or develop visible gaps.

This retainer is used for side sill, rocker-panel and lower body trim applications. The current fitment guide lists VW Passat CC 2008-2017 and Audi Q5 8R 2008-2017. Always compare the original part number and the shape of the old clip before ordering.

This Mercedes-Benz retainer is used where the side skirt, door sill and lower trim panels attach. The current fitment list covers:

The 11601845 retainer covers a wide range of Cadillac lower-body trim applications. The current guide lists Cadillac XTS 2013-2019, ATS-L 2014-2019, CT6 2016-2020, CT4 and CT5 2020+, Lyriq 2023+ and GT4 2024+. 2. Door panel, lock rod and window trim clips: BMW, Volvo and Maserati
Interior door and window trim retainers work in a different environment from exterior clips. They need to hold trim panels and lock rods securely while still allowing service access. A broken retainer can cause a loose door panel, a rattling lock rod, or trim that will not sit flush.

3. 68001899AA - Jeep Liberty Transfer Case Shift Linkage Bushing Kit
The 68001899AA transfer case shift linkage bushing kit is an aftermarket replacement for loose or worn linkage bushings on selected Jeep Liberty applications. The current fitment guide lists Jeep Liberty (KJ) 2002-2016 with 2.4L, 2.8L CRD Diesel and 3.7L engine options, including Limited 4WD, Renegade 4WD and Sport 4WD models.
A worn linkage bushing can cause excessive shifter movement, difficulty engaging the transfer case, or a loose feeling in the 4WD selector. Confirm the transfer case, linkage design and original part number before ordering.

How to choose the correct retainer or bushing
- Match the part number first. Vehicle name alone is not enough because the same model can use different clips by year, trim or assembly plant.
- Check the model code. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volvo often use chassis codes such as G30, W204, 8R, P2 or SPA. Compare the model code before ordering.
- Compare the old part. Look at the locking tabs, rod diameter, hole size, clip length, mounting angle and material colour.
- Check the trim location. Door sill, rocker panel, side skirt, window moulding, luggage compartment and door panel locations can use different retainers even on the same vehicle.
- Choose the right pack size. Trim clips are commonly sold in multi-piece packs because several clips may break during removal. Check the pack option before adding to cart.

Inspect the old clip for cracks, missing locking tabs, deformation and broken retainers. Check whether the trim panel or mounting hole is damaged as well. Replacing a clip will not fix a broken trim panel or a damaged mounting point.
